A Night on the Slopes
Night Skiing is offered on Thursday through Saturday until 9:00 pm during the Regular Season. 27.2 acres or 30% of our skiable terrain is lighted for night skiing. Night time trail availability varies according to season, grooming, and snowmaking plans, and other variables. Check the lift ticket window or the daily ski report for each evenings offerings. No beginner trails available from top of the mountain after 4:30 p.m., midstation only.
Easy Riders
Riders are welcome on all 35 trails and snowboard lessons and rentals are available daily. A deposit is required for all snowboard rentals. Lower Dew Drop and Bear Pit are now terrain parks, and the site of annual competitions and plenty of fun practice runs. Several special events are planned just for boarders, and many recreational races offer snowboard divisions. Check the events calendar for dates and contact the ski school desk for detailed information.
Forge New Boundaries
Experience the true peace of the wilderness, Timberline's cross country and back country trail networks are the perfect way to enjoy the beauty and tranquility in winter. We offer single-ride lift tickets so nordic skiers can access a 17 kilometer back country trail system. Our New Boundaries are mapped and marked for adventurers. Appropriate equipment is required, and trail availability depends upon adequate snow conditions.
Special events, races, clinics and workshops catering to Nordic enthusiasts are scheduled throughout the seasons. The Timberline Ski School offers Nordic instruction daily, and Nordic rental equipment is available in the Timberline Rental Shop.
