Twister Trail
Since it’s opening, Twister is creating excitement & a lot of happy skiers. The view from Twister overlooks the valley and the adjacent upscale Winterhaven development just below. The extensive planning and construction of this mile long intermediate trail has resulted in a new dimension in the wide spectrum of skiing and boarding experiences at Timberline. All of Timberline’s major trails including Salamander Run (the South’s Longest ski trail) have a full 1,000 feet vertical.

In the News
From Sacramento to Vermont, Timberline Four Seasons Resort is in the news. This autumn, Men's Journal magazine got the snowballs rolling when it named Davis one of America's Top 10 Mountain Towns and Timberline one of the coolest places in it. That was followed by a detailed profile of Timberline by Associated Press reporter Vicki Smith. Among the dozens of newspapers that picked up the AP story are MSNBC, CNN, Sacramento Bee and, of course, USA Today. Check out this profile of Timberline Four Seasons Resort owner Frederick Herz
