Memorial Day Weekend
Beginning of Timberline’s Summer Season. The official start of the mountain bike season. Our bike shop is open daily 9 am until 5 pm. The Scenic chairlift rides operational every Saturday and Sunday and holidays 10 am until 5 pm. Scenic chairlift rides available on 26th, 27th, & 28th. Timberline’s Stable open daily with guided trail rides. Breakfast or dinner trail rides available. Volleyball tournaments begin. Live entertainment weekends with no cover charge. Timbers Pub and Grill open everyday all year. Friday shrimp and Cajun special and Saturday all you can eat award winning ribs with a full dinner menu both nights.

Annual Summer Rhythm and Blues Festival
A weekend full of rhythm and blues music Friday evening through late Saturday. Rhythm and blue bands will appear in this annual event. There is no cover charge for any performance. Scenic chairlift every weekend all summer. The bike shop and Timberline’s riding stables open daily. There will be a full menu in the Fireside Grill. The Grill will also feature Friday shrimp and Saturday evening Timberline’s famous barbeque ribs special.

Racefest VII “Timberline 50”
This increasingly popular bi-annual event at Timberline is a Paul Koontz production with motor bike races and ATV races. Celebration begins on Friday evening with a full menu available at the Fireside Grill. Live entertainment will be rock music at 9:30 pm. The event continues all day Saturday with early morning breakfast at The Fireside Grill upstairs at the ski lodge and food and entertainment throughout the day. Saturday evening a popular, rock band will entertain in the ski lodge starting at 9:30. Join us at the areas biggest rock party each night! Affordable bunkhouse lodging is available at (304) 866-4801. Scenic chairlift ride operates 10 pm until 5 pm on July 14th and 15th. The Mountain Bike Center and Timberline’s Stables are open daily. There is no cover charge for any musical performance.

Celtic Music Festival
Friday 8 pm until midnight and Saturday 3 pm until midnight at the ski lodge enjoy the increasingly popular Celtic music presented by recognized Celtic artists. Enjoy traditional Irish songs both vocal and instrumental, quintessential Celtic sounds on fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Late evening performances highlighting Irish rock Friday and Saturday at Timbers Pub. Fireside Grill dinner special with late night menu available. There is no cover for any of the performances. Scenic chairlift rides Saturday and Sunday 10 am until 5pm. Timberline’s Stables and Mountain Bike Shop open daily.

Independence Day Weekend
Mountain Bike Center open daily. Scenic lift rides to the summit of Herz Mountain (altitude 4,268 feet, vertical 1,000) July 4th, 7th, and 8th attach your bike and ride the chairlift for high altitude bike riding. Fireside Grill open daily for lunch and dinner and Timbers Pub open daily with late night food and beverage. Live music in Timbers Pub 8 pm July 6th & 7th. There is no cover charge.

Gospel Music Day
Gospel music presented at the ski lodge. Traditional and contemporary music, both vocal and instrumental, will be performed. Live Gospel groups will appear.

Annual Summer Mountain and Country Music Festival
Enjoy the sounds of West Virginia’s rich musical heritage presented by Roy Scott, legendary star of the world famous WWVA Jamboree and MGM recording artist appearing live Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening, also featuring Jan and Laurie, Harmony Scott. Timbers Pub and Grill and Mountain Bike Center open. Scenic chairlift rides to the summit of Herz Mountain, at 4,362 feet elevation, all day Saturday and Sunday. Shrimp and Rib Specials. No cover charge for the performances.

Frontier Weekend
Go back in time for a weekend in the old West with authentic cow camp and chuck wagon complete with all the appropriate gear. Witness a live shoot out on horse back just behind Timberline Ski Lodge! Also enjoy trail rides, barbecue, square dancing, old western and mountain music live by the Saddle Tramps. Scenic chairlift rides Saturday and Sunday. Wear your western clothes and enjoy the events. There is no cover charge.
